Lets say, youre in a train.
A chinese man comes in, standing next to you, asking for 4 bucks so that he can have dinner.
Hes wearing old, tattered clothes, bathed in sweat and dirt,
much like a China / Bangladesh worker.
He doesnt look any special, just a normal looking guy, average weight and height.

We would look in a stereotypical kind of way,
in our minds it would go like:
"china worker?? wa why so dirty.. must be work until lidat"
"wa so poor thing, kay la give him money" and that he is "poor".

What if hes a millionaire?
What if all these were just an act,
that he just wanted to get away from his life, and just wanted to experience the life of a poor man?
Or what if the man accepted a bet from his friend to act "poor" for a day?!

Surely, these what if cases are rare, but what if?!
What if its all an act?

Now.. We see a "cheenah" singaporean somewhere outside,
with dyed gold hair, "ah beng" style, the common disgusting purple and black striped long sleeved shirt and skinny skinny black jeans.
The more "westernised" locals would say: " EWWWWW AHHH BENNGGGG"

Then again, what if hes a sportsman, a adidas guy who wears adidas all the time,
but just because he stayed over at his cousin's place and had nothing to wear,
he had to wear his cousin's "ah beng" stuff home for the time being.
What if it was all just an act? Or a bet?

Yes, again, these cases are one in a million.
Even now, with just a glance at china imigrant "maybes",
my mind would have already registered then as CHINAMANNNNNNNNNNNN.
When i look at beggars, it would be BEGGARSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
And people with long emo hair wearing band tees would be, ROCKARRRRRRRRRR.

People cant help but judge first, its human nature.
I suppose its really okay.
But remember to keep those thoughts on your head's "temporary" section
You'll never know.
